My name is Pemba Nuru Sherpa and I have been guiding treks to Everest Base Camp and other popular treks in Nepal for over 14 years. I was born in Khunde 3850m, a small Sherpa Village of approximately 150 people. Only one day of walk to Everest Base Camp for Sherpa people from my village so trekking has always been a part of my life. In my experience, trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the most exciting and rewarding adventure to have in one’s lifetime, and it is much easier than what most people think.

 

I provide an exciting, informative, enjoyable and safe treks. I pride myself on assisting trekkers to acclimatize by adding in small hikes on acclimatization days to assist.

 

I love trekking, and my reason for becoming guide was to show other people the beauty of the mountains that the Sherpa people have enjoyed for so long. Where I see your excitement and wonder and sense of achievement when you trek, then I feel satisfied I have done my job!
